Scott Slaugh is a fifth-generation Coloradan, Army Reserve Lieutenant Colonel, small business owner, ordained minister, and devoted husband and father. Born in Colorado and adopted as an infant into a Northern Colorado family, Scott was raised with the values of hard work, sacrifice, faith, and service to others.
Aside from military deployments, education, and missionary service, Scott has spent his life in Northern Colorado. Today, he and his family proudly call Johnstown home, where they continue deep roots connected to Berthoud, Milliken, Greeley and the communities that make HD64 unique.
Scott has served more than 22 years as an officer in the United States Army Reserve, including leadership and engineering roles both domestically and overseas. Professionally, he founded Fall River Homes, a Northern Colorado homebuilding company focused on helping families achieve the dream of homeownership.
At the Capitol, Scott has quickly earned a reputation as a principled conservative willing to stand firm for constitutional rights, taxpayer protections, veterans, parents, and Colorado families.
